But taste this one and enjoy. Over our stay in Boston we had at least 6 donuts from Union Square Donuts, and they are all divine. Make sure to try the French Cruller, although Apple Cream Bar is a strong competitor for my heart as well! Huge delicious donuts! The guy came back and gave me my donuts and that was all!

Australian restaurant. KO Catering and Pies is a cozy cafe in Boston that serves up some of Australia's favorite budget-friendly meals. The pies are especially popular, and everyone who tries them loves them. When KO owner Sam Jackson moved back to Oz, he was worried that he would have to take his pies with him.

Love love love this place! I recently went for their "Stay At Bloody Home" Aussie Day meal pack and it was SO good! They've got an excellent system for minimizing contact for pickup. I've brought home their other pies and sausage rolls to cook at home ordering a hot one to eat right away of course and am always happy with them.

Get some pies while you can! Walked here from Hyatt Regency and was a nice walked. Restaurant is different but cute. Patio was nice. We try the classic beef with cheese and the lamb pie, both was good but a little small. Overall experience is good but not something I will be getting out of my way.

If I happen to be near by, for sure will be back. Quality Australian comfort food! The unique food options are simple, and they don't disappoint. The curried vegetable pie and the KO pie of the month braised short ribs were delicious, and the KO sangria was so flavorful that it was dangerous.

I would encourage everyone to visit this place before it's gone Dec Stopped by for a pie on Pi day and these hot, flaky, crispy, flavorful hand pies on a cold freak snow day did not disappoint!

They were both delicious but the braised short rib was sooo tender and had sooo much flavor!! The service was friendly, quick and efficient and we will definitely be back for more! Mentioned on 3 lists. Shopping mall. Food court. Faneuil Hall Marketplace is a popular shopping mall in Boston with many stores and restaurants.

It was built in by wealthy businessman Peter Faneuil, and has been a part of American history since its inception. The hall is famous for being the site of important speeches and gatherings during the early days of the American Revolution.

Amazing food vendors. Awesome stores. Great foods. Wasn't too crowded but it was still crowded on a Friday afternoon. The entire market was surprisingly clean. But the bathrooms were not, especially in the men's bathroom.

It is a public area so no surprise. Each vendor has their own unique type of foods as well. The clam chowder is excellent from any of the vendors. Didn't have a bad experience with any of the clam chowder.

The seafood here is expensive. Overall, a cool place to check out but don't forget to budget in the parking lot fee if you're on a budget.

I went in here as a quick stop since we were just there for a day through a cruise, but I highly enjoyed myself and was wonderfully surprised at how educational it was. I didn't realize Boston was such a big part of our American history in more ways than one.

It's truly inspirational; the spirit of revolution lingers in the air. The marketplace has an old structure, but it's pretty modern. I liked that I didn't really see a lot of big franchises or big brand names. Highly recommend this as a stop while in town. A good place for meeting up with friends?

Or maybe that special someone and has a bit of everything that offers a vibrant atmosphere as well as the romantic one. I love the activities that are going on from people showcasing their talents to locals, having fun in a sense of activities maybe it is that include visitors.

It's a very warm welcoming vibe that it gives off and it's one of my favorite places to visit while I'm in downtown Boston. In fact I can say that area in general is my favorite place to just be alone and think of with company. My favorite next to Wharfs Landing or Boston Inner Harbor.

Love this place. Quincy market is the best. Recommended for visitors and locals. I can get my pizza, lobster roll, candy apple and cannoli fix all in one spot!!!

And last time I went they had live music which was super cool!! This is a really cool place in Boston. They have so many food options. And the building is really nice.

Difficult to find parking near by. You have to park far and walk. But worth going there. Hit this place up. It has amazing food options and street entertainment on the weekends. Good shopping around it too! Get your lobster roll, ice cream, Asian food and so much more! It's centrally located place where you can find Delicious food lobster 🦞 , pizza, ice cream 🍦 🍨, and plenty of shop.

I had delicious vegetarian Chowder soup at Boston Chowda. My favorite place to go in Boston. We went late after returning from a trip to Spectacle Island so most of the food options were closed. Ice cream of course still available! Still always fun to walk around a bit and enjoy the scene.

Best to go earlier in the day to enjoy all the many food options inside Quincy Market. What a great place to visit! It was busy and bustling with lots of booths offering different crafts and wares.

Got some high quality Boston memorabilia here to bring back home with me. Better than all the cheap touristy stuff you could find elsewhere.

Plus there's lots of history to look at after you shop! This place was nice to visit had tons of variety in the food hall. A ton of little kiosks to shop at.

We walked around the city and to the park. Nice selection of food, we went back several times when in the area. One Sunday afternoon there was a girl playing a violin, it was so beautiful. I wished I would have her information to buy some CDs.

This place is magnificent and tons of history and shopping Def happy to wander around north south and Quincy markets. Wonder place to browse buy and def eat. Def want to go back in the near future and do some more tours of tasty treats. Was not exactly what I was expecting. While the history being Faneuil Hall is interesting, most of the marketplace is across the courtyard in the Quincy Maket.

They have a display that encircles the middle of the hall describing what slavery was like in Boston during the Colonial period and stories of former slaves.

I found that every educational. There are a few shops that line the outsides of the hall. Still worth the visit though. Absolutely loved this place.

The history, the food and the shopping is all in one spot. Many hours of enjoyment were had while here for 5 days. Can't wait to go back. This area including Quincy market is just bursting with entertainment and vibe. Local entertainment outside daily and just a fun place to sit and people watch.

Lots of dining options And a fun spot for a few hours. Faneuil Hall Marketplace is a legendary food court with quote a variety of offerings.

Highly recommended! Photos of vendors included in my review. Breakfast restaurant. Flour Bakery in Boston has become my go-to spot whenever I'm in the city, and their brunch menu is one of the best in town.

This time, I tried the shrimp caesar salad and roast beef sandwich. The salad was a good combination of crisp romaine lettuce, tender shrimp, and a flavorful dressing that hit all the right notes. The roast beef sandwich was a savory treat. I usually get the sticky bun for dessert, but this time I tried the Boston cream pie, and it was very moist and super good!

I also got to see Joanne Chang owner of the bakery working in the kitchen and interacting with guests this time!

Overall great experience. Nice place with high quality desserts. My favorite cake was a toss up between the carrot cake or coconut cream pie. The carrot cake was heavy which is what I prefer and the cake itself was nice n sweet, along with the great frosting.

It was very good. Now the Boston crème pie slice was okay. The double chocolate cookie was bomb. Not very big, but had a nice rich flavor with plenty of chocolate chunks.

Unfortunately, the raspberry crumb bar is overpriced. Decided to pick up some treats to go. Nice little bakery not far from the hotel. Ordered: scones, Lemon ginger, chocolate, cheddar chive; a sticky bun, croissant—everything was enjoyed by the group I was with.

Best cafe so far in Boston. Skip dunkin. Terrific coffee and pastries! Free self serve water, relaxing decor to just chill or perhaps get some work done. This location was spacious with 2 bathrooms as well! Amazing brunch place! Very lucky to have them in the neighborhood.

The pastry is freshly made and just look appetizing. The menu items are also fresh and inviting. Good value for the price. Needed a bit more intensity, but overall quite good. The brioche au chocolate was just what I wanted. Great texture and perfectly not too sweet. Place is good. Got the lemon coconut muffin and the ham and cheese croissant.

Would def come here again for the bakery. But the matcha latte was very watered down. Not worth. Very pricey. Clean restrooms. Lines can be long. They have only one self ordering screen. Lots of fresh pastries. No parking lot or street parking.

Extremely hard to find a metered street spot. More like impossible to find a street metered spot. They have outdoor seating. Joanne Chang's famous sticky sticky bun definitely is worth the hype!

It's very sweet, but I can't resist going in for more bites. The bun is pillowy soft, caramel is so gooey, and the pecans add a nice crunch. I also got a cucumber gazpacho very refreshing and pizza with bbq pork which was okay, but not my favorite. Amazing sandwiches and pastries.

We had the chicken Tikka sandwich and the avocado toast and they were perfectly sized and flavored. We added a sticky bun on too and it literally melted in our mouths. Not too sweet, just right.

This is an absolute must stop! This place is a wonderful spot for picking up breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend their avocado toast, breakfast sandwich, Greek salad, and any of the sandwiches.

The new miso tofu bowl is a great addition. They have quality hot and iced tea. I have ordered many a cake from the place for birthdays, etc. and everyone loves them. Their cookies and pastries are very indulgent - the sticky rolls are well known around these parts.

My only tiny issue is that if you try to go during peak times at breakfast or dinner the place is too small for the crowds and you practically trip over a stroller or two trying to pick up your order. So, it's not really a peaceful place to dine in, but there are plenty of places to sit outside nearby by the water instead if you do take out.

They have an online app for ordering and actually text you when it's ready unlike some other places. Walked here on our way to do the Freedom Trail. It was extremely crowded and it may always be like this. However, the lattes, bakery items and breakfast were really good. I loved and recommend the Avocado toast.

And it was a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a latte before getting our day started. Vietnamese restaurant. Ba Lẹ Restaurant is a popular Vietnamese take-out spot in Boston. The menu features classic Vietnamese sandwiches and desserts, as well as bubble tea and coffee.

The line often stretches out the door, so be prepared to wait for your sandwich bargain. Delicious 😋 line was 20 deep Sunday at 3. Get in the line sandwiches at the end near the cashier. Fast service but usually a long line.

Uniquely delicious food though worth the wait! I asked for 2 spring rolls but the lady sold me three. Some of the older ladies don't speak English very well.

It's a very solid place to get some banh mi. I usually get the traditional one to determine how it's going to be. The bread has a nice soft chewy interior. It's not too dense. The flexor of the mayo and pate is wonderful. You can tell that they are professional at making this by the speed at which they make a banh mi.

I also tried the grilled beef banh mi. This has a little sweetness to it. They also serve a bunch of other Vietnamese food that you can try. I wished I tried them, but I had to pace myself for the day.

Ba Le was recommended to me by my cousin. So we stopped by and had to try it out. Let me say the interior of the space is a cozy market where you can find some fresh produce and Asian products. The service counter had a ton of delicious options and everything smelled great!

Of course I had to scoop myself up some Lol Mein, DELICIOUS! Very flavorful and served hot! The Sandwich was super flavorful as well. Decent size sandwich for the price and the spice level was moderate. Could use more spice. Still it slapped!

Definitely met up to it's hype. Go check it out! Wow wow wow I only went for the sandwich and I was not disappointed my friend cly told me about this place.

I will be going often now. I want to go back and try some of the rice and noodles they have available. and all the same size. I got three sandwiches for 20 bucks, I had the expenses combo cold cut sandwich lol I wanted to try them all, so much options I will go at least every other week for a cheat day meal.

They have a lot of Vietnamese food. I got tofu banh mi and a peach oolong tea with boba. The tofu banh mi was stuffed with vegetables and tofu, and it had a splash of a nice savory sauce in addition to the usual banh mi sauces.

The peach oolong tea not pictured was refreshing, but the boba had varying textures. Some was too mushy, and others fell apart when bitten.

Got the bbq pork Bahn Mi. Very much worth the hype! The line looks long but went quickly. A great deal for an excellent sandwich. The banh mi sandwiches are so delicious. We tried the beef and bacon ones. The iced coffee is also great! We want to have breakfast here every morning in the weekend.

A long time neighborhood spot to get Bánh mì Vietnamese cuisine sub. I highly recommend their beef Bánh mì. The baguette is lightly toasted and the sauce is unique.

Love it spicy! Wow, such good great food. They even have a side bar for drinks, like Cafe sua da, Vietnamese coffee, fresh juices, bubble tea, etc. Fresh made banh mi and a lot of other great variety of Vietnamese cuisine. Food is great here, but after today it was absolutely disappointing!

Very sad. Please be careful. We ordered for a breakfast delivery to our Airbnb. Our list was pretty long and good that they didn't mess up anything. Importantly, we could get our order in the early morning. As a Vietnamese, the food was decently acceptable.

I ordered the sticky rice. Amazing that there were lots of toppings but it was not really flavorful. Anyone wants to give a shot, I would recommend trying Banh mi at this place due to the combo of mayo and pate. good food, friendly store but long line if you pick the lunch time going there they do catering too and the food quality is above standard although some ladies don't speak English I have to point at the item and sign language as if I wanted big or small portion of the take out food,it did not discourage me and my husband keep going back for more, although the food there are getting really pricy now, but you know what?

We shop to support locals right? and its' always good food there so it's a win-win. Roxy's is a restaurant that specializes in grilled cheese sandwiches and burgers. They have multiple locations throughout Boston, and their food trucks can be found around town as well.

Their Mighty Rib Melt with fontina, bbq braised short rib, and caramelized onions is an absolutely incredible sandwich. Awesome grilled cheeses! Friendly service even close to closing time, got the grilled cheese with honey hot sauce and bacon. Perfect size and tasted the best ever!

The tomato soup is tomato soup. We stopped at this place to try out the grilled cheese because it was recommended. It's located in a busy street and parking is quite hard.

The atmosphere was great, perfect for a grilled cheese dine in. Lot of options in the menu and we ordered grilled cheese with BBQ and three cheese, also with pickles. The bread was crunchy and the cheese taste was fantastic. With pickles the taste was amazing.

The customer service was great. while our order was being prepared, we played pinball and it was quite fun. I liked everything but I expected something more like different bread choices and more flavors.

Definitely a great place to try and have a bite of the grilled cheese 🧀🧀👍👍👍. The bacon cheeseburger was solid in taste but not hearty enough.

$12: Pilgrim Sandwich at Mike’s City Diner

Grilled cheese was average. I've been eating at Sullivan's since I was kid in the early s. My grandmother lived locally and we would walk the Head Causeway and Castle perimeter than grab a burger or hot dog and fries.

Such a great memory to experience. I recently introduced my own kids to this South Boston treasure. Name recognition is what seems to bring people here. Food price vs.

quantity is a disaster. Fish sandwich was about as good as McDonald's. The only decent thing was the shake. Also no respect for veterans with no discount. Fast service, good food, good prices, friendly staff.

Great place to walk, fly a kite, let kids use the playground, etc. The area offers great views and scenery. Very little has changed over the years and that in this case is a good thing. We went on a rainy day. They have NO indoor seating. Food was good, not great.

Was priced pretty high. Was expecting more with the great reviews Quick service. My family and I have been coming here for decades. Have to patient to find parking. Through the decades of visiting here, quality has had its ups and downs.

These last few years, the best thing on the menu is the broiled fish sandwich… Not fried. Taco restaurant. El Pelón Taqueria is a great place for authentic Mexican food in Boston. The tacos and burritos are some of the most popular items on the menu, but there is something for everyone. The restaurant is packed with fans of the Red Sox, so be sure to check it out before a game at Fenway Park.

Was recommended the El guapo burrito. Tasted great! Good flavour and i think there was banana or some kinda fruit in there which i found rly unique!

It was really affordable as well. Even more significant for me though was that the service was topnotch. The lady who served me was all smiles and v friendly. She even went out of her way when I asked for a favor regarding keeping my backpack safe for an hour as I couldn't have it w me.

To my surprise she accepted. If you're reading this I want to say thank you again. I can't commend them and recommend them enough!!

The Interior is relatively small, with limited seating. Still very cute and great for a quick lunch. If you're looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, I highly recommend trying the Americanos tacos. These tacos are a great choice for anyone who loves Mexican-inspired cuisine and is looking for a tasty and filling dish.

The chicken is grilled to perfection, resulting in a juicy and flavorful meat that is the perfect complement to the creamy sour cream and fresh cilantro. Definitely one of the best taco places in Boston!

First time ordering from El Pelon. Ordered fish taco with spicy mayo. It was delicious and well presented and delivered within 30 minutes. My only issue is the lack of option on the taco shell. I prefer soft flour over the soft corn shell offered. Otherwise tasty tacos 😋.

Really tasty affordable burritos, we especially liked the steak one. The staff were kind enough to cut them in half for us! While tasty, the burritos could have used a bit more meat for the price.

Got two vegetarian tacos with vegan cheese. They were okay, barely any seasoning or salt and was mostly given salsa. The beans were the main protein but the portion was very small. The salsa was very watery and made it impossible to pick up.

Glad they had vegan cheese but I will stick to making tacos at home or going to taco party in Somerville. My friend who got meat had a similar experience.

Not a good experience. Would have given two stars but they had vegan horchata that was very good. Amazing fish tacos with an interesting twist!

Love the cucumbers and the sauce which has a little bit of spice. The staff were very friendly and the facilities are clean. Plantains were also great. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and amount of food for relatively low price!!! Refreshing salsa with delicious homemade guac generously packed upon flavorful charred steak.

I highly recommend giving this taqueria a try! The service is fast, which is good. The food is ok. Consistency will make or break if I spend money at an establishment. I ordered catfish here a couple of times.

The last time that I ordered it I opened my order and my fish was Covered in a sauce I couldn't even eat it. They have a small place to eat outside.

Anyway, worth a trip. Pretty good Mexican food. Tried it for the first time today and I have no complaints. They make your food very quickly it took about 5 minutes from when I ordered until when I walked out the door. Had some good flavor and both the meats were cooked well and seasoned well.

Looking forward to trying to other dishes from here. I don't know what part of Mexico they're from, but this place didn't taste authentic to me. First of all they didn't have Lengua or Barbacoa, red flag. I ordered the Carnitas Torta. The carnitas weren't crispy or greasy.

They were wet and flavorless. It was so soggy that it fell apart in my hand. The chips and salsa was chips and a little cup of some kind of pico no salsa with my chips. They did have Mexican Coke. I left disappointed. Hamburger restaurant.

If you're craving a delicious, high-quality hamburger, look no further than Tasty Burger. This locally-owned burger chain offers a variety of burgers at an affordable price, and is the home of the official burger of the Red Sox.

yes - i personally prefer this over shake shack. Need a quick bite? Looking for a great burger at a very, very wallet friendly price?

This particular location is adjacent to North Station in downtown Boston. The quality is present with fresh ingredients. We were craving burgers and decided to check them out for dinner. Despite TD Garden being crazy busy with the the Celtics game next door, we were greeted immediately and asked to hangout for a few minutes while they get our table ready.

Not visible, but I ordered the Gorgonzola Burger that has blue cheese and bacon in it. It was super rich, flavorful, and hit the spot. My partner ordered their Big Tasty and he loved it while while our daughter ordered a their classic cheeseburger combo with tater tots.

It was super busy and our server Latesha was slammed, but she was super on top of it!! Definitely coming back again to have more of the yummy food and great service. First time trying Tasty Burger and I've got it say, it's better than a Red Robin's!

I got the Rise 'N Shine while my partner got The Big Tasty. Loved how they wrapped each burger individually, but if you don't open it right away, your bun will get soggy.

I wish the burger was a little hotter for a sit-down place, but the flavor was there. I took off one star just because the portion size was a bit on the small size with the fries and the burger. The other star came from how long it took to close out. We were the only people in the restaurant, but it took awhile for us to flag down the servers.

Also got the green monster milkshake, which is really just a mint chocolate chip shake. I personally loved it, but wished there was a bigger straw or a spoon to grab all the chocolate chips.

It's definitely worth trying tasty burger at least once in your life, but debatable if you want to be a regular. That being said, I do want to try their mushroom burger eventually! The man who helped me when I went inside to order a burger was SO nice.

Made me feel welcome. The place is pretty great inside, I love the bar setting. I had a patty melt and it was absolutely delicious.

Truly a tasty burger. Will definitely come back with more time to dine in! Burger was great. Unfortunately, the waitress rushed me to pay before the food even arrived and kept staring at me when I was inputting tip, etc. Then she ignored me except to take the half finished onion rings without my asking her to.

Decent burgers. Generous on the quantity. The steak is full of fat and you can't taste the meat. Is the quality of the meat to blame? A nice place to go when you've got nowhere else to go. Nice place to go, next to north station. During game season the place usually get crowded so try to come a little bit early during this time.

Nice finger foods and burger! The waitress Gabi was attentive and friendly. The place has a restroom and lots of tv if will want to go there to see the game.

Mentioned on 4 lists. Donut shop. Sarah Belisle and her team at Union Square Donuts have started to offer their sweet treats at Bagel Table stores. This makes it much easier for donut enthusiasts to get their fix, as well as allowing the shop to test out new flavors.

Union Square Donuts is one of Boston's most popular donut shops and has been named Best of Boston three times over! Delicious Donuts!

Warm and fresh, it was amazing. They ran out of Boston Cream so make sure to arrive early for those! We tried an assortment of donuts, and this Vegan Pumpkin Spice Latte Donut was the best! Stopped by this place early on a holiday morning and there was no line.

Got the Boston creme, pomegranate molasses, honey glazed, French cruller, sea salt whiskey caramel, and brown butter hazelnut crunch. The honey glazed was decent but the best one was the hazelnut crunch.

Note that the donuts are pretty big and hefty. This review is on the donute I tried and not necessarily on the establishment. The maple glaze with bacon was not good to me. Very strange flavor and poor after taste. I did enjoy the carrot cake and while it is sweet from the glaze it is very good..

I need to be fair in this review. The maple glaze with bacon would rank a 1 star and the carrot cake a 4. I saw other donutes that looked amazing. My family loved these donuts so much that we went back the next day.

Absolutely delicious with interesting flavors. The raspberry hibiscus and the plain cake were standouts. No line either time we were there.

Got a vegan chai apple cider donut and a vegan cinnamon bar, they were excellent! Sweet and kind of crisp. He is in his 50s. So you definitely want to try the peanut butter cup donut if you like peanut butter.

One of the best doughnuts I had. The dark chocolate is way bitter for my liking but everything was good. Highly recommended!!! Will definitely come back here. Great donuts. Especially great yeast donuts of various great flavors.

These aren't the lightweight kind as a well done yeast or cake donut that isn't exclusively deep fried will be denser than your gas station KK. Boston cream donut weighed a solid half pound.

Note that the Boston cream is not sugary. Dark chocolate top and a creamy, but not sickly sweet, filling might jolt you if you are accustomed to the super sugary offerings other places provide.

The restaurants are small, but most offer full-service dining.

Top picks include the spicy miso ramen at Sapporo Ramen, the Tokyo hamburg set at Cafe Mami, and the niku udon at Yume Ga Arukara.

Along with the East Boston outpost, Pikalo also operates shops in Jamaica Plain, Lowell, and Lawrence. There are build-you-own bowls of poutine, brats, burgers, chicken sandwiches, vegetarian sandwiches, and salad bowls, plus fries and an impressive array of dipping sauces to go alongside everything.

Flavors include chocolate butternut, powdered, honey dip, Boston cream, and lots more. Best bet: a super burrito with choice of filling. Local chain Tasty Burger is always a reliable pick for a not-too-expensive hamburger that is, well, tasty.

Part counter-service restaurant, part halal butchery, part grocery store, Nubian Markets is a shiny new addition in Roxbury that showcases food exploring the African and Muslim diaspora. Also a must: the doubles, pictured here.

Given its large size and saltiness sometimes , I recommend you split it with someone. The next four restaurants on this best Boston cheap eats list will be located in Chinatown. First is Dumpling King in Beach Street Food Court. The dumplings have a thick, chewy wrapping, and a generous portion of seasoned pork on the inside.

The food court that Dumpling King is located in is very small, so the dumplings are best for takeout. You can also get a large bundle of frozen dumplings to bring home and cook yourself! Further Reading: Best Chinese Food in Boston. I personally like Hing Shing Pastry and Ho Yuen.

Popular pastries include the pineapple bun , pork bun , and beef curry pastry my favorite. It has a simple sugar-crusted topping that gives the physical appearance of pineapple. For dessert, get the Portuguese egg tarts at the Corner Cafe.

The rice rolls are silky and chewy. Fillings include roast pork, beef, shrimp, veggies, etc. They then pour a soy sauce glaze all over to top it off. Their very limited menu specializes in Sicilian street food like arancini, panzerotti, and pizza slices.

The panzerotti is much simpler. Umberto is open every day besides Sunday from AM to around PM. I recommend going earlier in the day because long lines form in the afternoon and they close when they run out!

Their variety of pizza flavors includes bbq chicken, sausage and ricotta, shrimp scampi, buffalo chicken, and more. My personal favorite is the BBQ chicken.

The last pizza shop on this Best Boston cheap eats list is one of my favorite hidden gems. One slice is enough for a moderately hungry person. Florina serves both thin and thick pizza slices. But then, for a buck apiece, you get to layer on decadent fixings like Nutella, caramel, whipped cream, cookie butter, and more.

Blackbird Doughnuts in the South End. Order up a whole pack to rollerblade back to your crew on the nearby Southie Rivieria otherwise known as the Carson, L Street, and M Street beaches.

Be sure to get there by mid-afternoon, because this North End institution starts sweeping the floors once customers have mopped up its daily-made trays of square-cut, Sicilian-style pizza.

The cash-only, cafeteria-style space is a legend for a reason, and that reason is heavenly, thick crust with a thick layer of sweet tomato sauce and toothsome cheese for two bucks a slice. One will satisfy the peckish; two is what you really want. It used to be that you get could most of the many, many treats at this Chinatown bakery for a couple of quarters.
